We Do Not Use Amalgam Filling Material
For over 20 years, our practice has chosen not to use amalgam filling material due to ethical and health concerns. Amalgam contains mercury, a toxic heavy metal, and has been restricted or banned in numerous countries due to its potential health and environmental risks. The World Health Organization (WHO) has advocated for a global phase-out of dental amalgam to reduce mercury exposure. Additionally, amalgam fillings are metal-based and placed in a wet oral environment, where they expand and contract with temperature changes. Over time, this can create internal stress within the tooth, leading to cracks or even splitting, which may ultimately require extraction. Given these concerns, we are committed to using safer, modern alternatives that provide durable and aesthetically pleasing results while prioritizing patient health and well-being.
Thank you always a pleasure atmosphere pleasant company and amazing results that will make you smile
